North African Percussion Workshop

Atlas Soul (see World Music Wednesday concert on December 2) will give a workshop on the music of the Maghreb with a special emphasis on the percussion and melodic structure. Atlas Soul will demonstrate how to blend jazz, rock and funk with North African and Middle Eastern melodies and grooves. Students may bring their own instruments although they are not required for participation.
